Swap Polystyrene Foam Food Containers for Enviroware Bagasse Hinged Food Boxes
For decades, EPS foam food containers have been a firm favourite for packaging takeaway foods. Now they are considered bad for the environment and are soon to be banned.
EPS foam food packaging is practical at point of use. However, the material isn't normally recycled in the UK. Most curbside recycling programs don't accept foam packaging - it is inefficient and expensive to recycle on a large scale. In landfill, EPS foam will take around 500 years to break down, and will leach chemicals into the surrounding environment.
Our Enviroware® Bagasse Hinged Food Boxes are an eco-friendly alternative to foam boxes. Available in many sizes - we offer boxes to package popular takeaway foods; including small or large burgers, jacket potatoes, and long boxes for fish and chips.
